Additional Storyboard / Extra Scenes.

Upon piecing together our film, and receiving feedback from tutors, we felt filming a few more extra scenes would help make a stronger impact with our 'narrative' and concept in our vid. We decided to go out and get more busy / "everyday life" sort of shots, to really drive home the point that creative avenues are an escape, and a paradise away from all of this, later on in the film.

These were the little ideas I came up with to add in, and we did include all of them in the end in some form. First was a Lambton quay/busy walking scene among crowded streets, second was to film a commute on a bus as part of that journey, we ended up using shallow depth of field to make the people behind me out of focus in this scene which worked quite well. And third a hectic day working in class. These scenes are only like 10 or so seconds worth of film but they really made a big difference in making the story stronger and added some variety in visuals here.
